After being adopted from the An Khe province in Vietnam, I was raised in Seattle, WA where I followed my sister’s footsteps and participated in sports. Despite the overwhelming basketball prowess I displayed as a 5’4” non confrontational queer teenager, I was gently persuaded to try theatre at the beginning of high school. Eventually, I fell in love with it so much that I officially traded my basketball shoes for jazz shoes. And I continued to nurture this passion for theatre and performing through high school, which has now lead me all the way to New York City (after a pitstop in Boston, MA to get a BFA at Emerson College).

My love of theatre and performing has taken me all over on national tours, and to regional theaters in various corners of the country.   

Theater has the capability to make audiences think about the world around them and learn something about themselves through it. I believe that the arts are essential in this time of turbulence in our world, and I hope that the work that we do, can truly inspire new hearts and minds to action for our greater good.
